If you plan to use with gravity funnel products, like the Winkie, please select the "larger urethra" size option -- this will prevent backflow.
The Spouti is able to handle a smaller urethra when placed properly. Functionally forming a vacuum, the smaller urethra causing an slight increase in urine velocity, aka a harder stream.
For beginners I recommend a larger urethra size just in case you end up preferring to switch between STP products.
